Load case data
The USCIS case API only answers a signed-in browser session, so no server can look a case up from a receipt number alone. This runs the fetch inside your own logged-in USCIS tab and hands the result straight back here β no copying, no pasting.
- Drag this button onto your browser's bookmarks bar (one time only):
Can't see the bookmarks bar? Press Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows) or β+Shift+B (Mac).
- Sign in at my.uscis.gov in another tab.
- On that USCIS tab, click the π½ Fetch USCIS Case bookmark.
- Your case appears here automatically β this page is already listening.
How this stays private
The bookmarklet encrypts your case data in your browser with a one-time AES-GCM key before it leaves the
USCIS tab. The key lives only in this page's URL and is never transmitted, so the relay on the server holds
ciphertext it cannot read. The entry is single-use β it is deleted the moment this tab claims it, and in any
case expires after 10 minutes. If the browser blocks the relay, the bookmarklet falls back to opening this
site with the data in the URL fragment, which browsers never send to a server.
